Thank you for your visit - Please keep visiting!!

It's been 1 year and 5 months now since I quit housemanship and start to write this blog. Yesterday I checked on Hi-Jump statistics and shocked with the number of visits I get. Thank you all for your visit and please keep on coming.

Most of my readers are coming from Google search and most are silent readers as I can see from the comments and response I get. It is always better if I can get some response and engagement from my readers just to let me know people do read my writings.

While most of us prefer to keep anonymous (so do I until the time is right to reveal my real profile), you can still actively leave comments anonymously or using alias. I encourage you to leave response at the bottom of each posts too. You also are free to write to me at the email address provided at the right sidebar. Here are the screen shot of the 'Write to the Author' from the left sidebar and response options at the bottom of each posts.

I quit housemanship but not medicine

People always ask me this one question when I met them for the first time or when I told my friend about what I'm doing now. Most of the people thought that being a doctor means work in a hospital or clinic, or university as a lecturer.

Actually a doctor's job have two main division: clinical and non clinical. Doing clinical works means that you work in the hospital or clinic, treating patients. While doing non clinical works involves mainly advisory job like an advisor or lecturer.

Although I quit housemanship, I'm not quitting medicine. I love medicine but I don't like to practice. Hence I do what I do now. I am still a doctor but doing a medical advisory job for an insurance company. After few years of working I will be able to be a Medical Consultant in the future which give higher salary and more benefits.

There are other ways for you to still use what you have without wasting all your knowledge. The road diverge into two and I took the road usually not taken. And I really happy with what I have now.

I hope my blog readers will find the road to take and enjoy the journey.

Adieu.

After quitting housemanship: What I like the most

It's 2014 already and I guess all of us have set some target to reach during this year. I hope your target is not including quitting housemanship! Haha!

Why? Because it is not a target and it is not an achievement. Don't get me wrong. I did quit housemanship. It's been nearly 1.5 years already. But I did not encourage you to quit before you make a proper plan.

Okay now let's go straight to the topic of the day. I am a person who likes to try new things to have some new adventures. No, I'm not quitting my current job and get a new one. It's now going to happen! At least for the next 1 year. I've been working 5 days a week and get to enjoy the full weekend myself (except when I do OTs) and get to do the things I like to do such as:

1. Learn about personal financial planning
2. Involve in real estate investment
3. Involve in stocks market
4. Learn about other investment opportunities like a business (may be two ;)) )

I'm not saying that you can't do above things I listed while doing housemanship. Maybe you get lesser time only.

I hope we all can get the life we want and the success we dream of!

Till we meet again.
