Menjelang 2015

Semoga hujan berhenti turun.

Next! A millionaire?

Hello readers!

It's been awhile since the last update. Received a lot of emails but only managed to reply this month.

There were some re-structuring in my company hence I need to work harder.

I did a lot of thinking throughout these years after left Ministry of Health. I met a lot of people and learn a lot from them! I am so thankful for this!

I need to emphasize in this post that my intention to create this blog is not to encourage people to quit housemanship nor Ministry of Health. But the real purpose is to share my thoughts from my point of view and to open our mind on the opportunities outside.

I am open to any feedback and opinion.

I received a lot of views everyday. Although many are silent readers. Thank you for your visits.

The traffics statistics give me satisfaction and courage to share even more. As at this point, I am planning to share my journey to become a millionaire! You can laugh all you want but this is really my goal in 5 years time.

How? The. You have to stay tune and subscribe this blog.

What is your purpose?

Everything you do must have a purpose. Because the purpose will determine which pathway we should take.

I recently went for a training on 7 habits of highly effective people. It is a very good training. One of the habit I want to share is, begin with end in mind. Which means you should have the goal before you even started. Same goes with quitting housemanship, resigning any other job, or doing something else.

Everything is created twice actually. First, in your mind. Then when you get want you wanted for. Let me share with you one example of starting a business.

First you have to write a business plan. In the business plan, you must state your goals on what you want your business to be let say in 5 years time. You also describe in details on what you plan to do to meet your goals. At the time of writing the business plan, you already create your goals. Then you do everything you need to do to meet the goals. Then in 5 years time you meet the goals that's the second time it is created.

Therefore, plan ahead. The first plan might not be the perfect one and it can be changed from time to time because we don't have a straight-line journey ahead. Our path might varies to meet a very same objective.

If you have something to discuss, feel free to comment or email to me: hi.jump.author@gmail.com

Meet the author..

Howdy fellow friends. I hope you are doing fine. Thank you for your trust and visits to this blog. I am truly amazed how this blog actually have a consistent number of visits each day. And I am so happy about it. I will put a smile whenever I view the blog's traffic.

Thanks again for all your trust!

I been thinking that my presence here as the author of the blog is actually without my real name. Yes, I chose to be anonymous. The reason being is that I choose not to reveal myself for some personal reason. One of it is to avoid JPA to detect me and chase me to pay my penalty.

But with some deep thinking, I need to eventually reveal who I am actually to build a strong communication with my fellow readers, you guys. But I am actually a shy type of person.

There a things we can do together like discussing some stuffs and changing opinions on certain things or even start a new venture together.

So here I am. Asking if you guys want to know who I am actually?

You give your response via email: hi.jump.author@gmail.com and just click the Thank You button below.

What if...

Hi guys..

I've been receiving a lot of emails recently asking me some questions and asking for some advice. Thank you thank you and thank you a lot for all your emails. I've been trying hard to reply all emails as detail as I could based on my own experiences. I am very sorry if I took a slightly 'longer' time to reply you.

I've been thinking… since most of the emails asking similar questions, I might write an e-book. I will try to plan the layout first and will write in details on the specific matters.

I need some feedback from you guys on what are the matters you want to be included in the e-book. And would you be okay if I charge some fees for the e-book?

Kindly please e-mail me your response to my email: hi.jump.author@gmail.com

Till then.

Adieu.

Quitting housemanship: Things that keep you hesitate

Hello readers,

It's been awhile since my last post. I've been quite busy lately to improve my performance at work aiming for a higher performance bonus. I hope my fellow friends out there are still doing well and fine. Now let's get back to our topic for today.

Quitting housemanship is not easy. Yes I know, I've been there. With our 'culture' saying that doctors who quit doctors' job are coward and cannot stand the pressure. They are all losers.

I don't agree with that! In my opinion, every job in this world has its unique 'pressure'. Every worker is stress doing their work. Even businessmen who are their own bosses are stress while managing their own businesses. So why shouldn't we, the 'kuli' of our bosses?

Quitting housemanship is just like quitting other jobs. Changing career is not easy but believe me, there are other things we didn't know but can explore ourselves. We just have to be brave and be a risk taker.

If you keep on thinking about all the problems you have to face after sending in your letter of resignation to Human Resource, you won't get anywhere far. You have to think about the opportunities you'll get in the future after you quit. You can have a good time of your own and spread your wings to learn about other things. A lot! Trust me.

If you have any queries, feel free to contact me through email: hi.jump.author@gmail.com

Adieu.

Thank you for your visit - Please keep visiting!!

It's been 1 year and 5 months now since I quit housemanship and start to write this blog. Yesterday I checked on Hi-Jump statistics and shocked with the number of visits I get. Thank you all for your visit and please keep on coming.

Most of my readers are coming from Google search and most are silent readers as I can see from the comments and response I get. It is always better if I can get some response and engagement from my readers just to let me know people do read my writings.

While most of us prefer to keep anonymous (so do I until the time is right to reveal my real profile), you can still actively leave comments anonymously or using alias. I encourage you to leave response at the bottom of each posts too. You also are free to write to me at the email address provided at the right sidebar. Here are the screen shot of the 'Write to the Author' from the left sidebar and response options at the bottom of each posts.

I quit housemanship but not medicine

People always ask me this one question when I met them for the first time or when I told my friend about what I'm doing now. Most of the people thought that being a doctor means work in a hospital or clinic, or university as a lecturer.

Actually a doctor's job have two main division: clinical and non clinical. Doing clinical works means that you work in the hospital or clinic, treating patients. While doing non clinical works involves mainly advisory job like an advisor or lecturer.

Although I quit housemanship, I'm not quitting medicine. I love medicine but I don't like to practice. Hence I do what I do now. I am still a doctor but doing a medical advisory job for an insurance company. After few years of working I will be able to be a Medical Consultant in the future which give higher salary and more benefits.

There are other ways for you to still use what you have without wasting all your knowledge. The road diverge into two and I took the road usually not taken. And I really happy with what I have now.

I hope my blog readers will find the road to take and enjoy the journey.

Adieu.

After quitting housemanship: What I like the most

It's 2014 already and I guess all of us have set some target to reach during this year. I hope your target is not including quitting housemanship! Haha!

Why? Because it is not a target and it is not an achievement. Don't get me wrong. I did quit housemanship. It's been nearly 1.5 years already. But I did not encourage you to quit before you make a proper plan.

Okay now let's go straight to the topic of the day. I am a person who likes to try new things to have some new adventures. No, I'm not quitting my current job and get a new one. It's now going to happen! At least for the next 1 year. I've been working 5 days a week and get to enjoy the full weekend myself (except when I do OTs) and get to do the things I like to do such as:

1. Learn about personal financial planning
2. Involve in real estate investment
3. Involve in stocks market
4. Learn about other investment opportunities like a business (may be two ;)) )

I'm not saying that you can't do above things I listed while doing housemanship. Maybe you get lesser time only.

I hope we all can get the life we want and the success we dream of!

Till we meet again.
